Healthy eating is not about harsh nutrition way of life, staying idealistically thin, or depriving yourself of the foods you love. Rather, it’s bout feeling excellent, having more energy, and keeping yourself as healthy as doable – all which can be achieved by knowing some nutrition basics and adding them in a way that works for you. What did you do to possibly pull your abdominal muscle?

I think it happened while doing sit-ups.  Until about a week ago I didn't do any sort of workout at all (aside from occasionally walking a few miles through town).  It feels like a pulled muscle but I'm not even sure, I'm a total exercise newb.  I started doing 20 sit-ups a day around a week ago and for the past couple of days it's been painful to even try (I managed one last night and half of one today).

I would recommend that you chill out on the sit ups for now and take more time off.  Perhaps focus on exercising some different muscle groups, give it a chance to heal and then get back to your normal routine.

I have to get rid of the gut, above all else.  I guess I could look up some thigh exercises while I'm waiting for it to heal.

Just my 2 cents friend!  and welcome!

Thanks!

You are right.Meditation is a vacation for body, mind and sole also. It is quite essential for healthy life style as well. We all should follow some meditation in our busy life.

I do believe exercise is most essential to keep the body in balanced weight which directly indicates good health. I do exercise twice a day in morning and evening. I also follow weight loss tips of some experts and change my exercise schedule accordingly.

I'm going to say, first off, that I might not be the most active member, because I joined mostly to ask this question (an hour's worth of googling didn't turn up  meaningful answer).

I'm pretty sure I've pulled an abdominal muscle, if I keep doing sit-ups will it get worse?  I've already taken 2 days off, I need to get back ASAP.

I am no professional, but it could possibly make it worse or take it longer to heal if you are not easy on it.

Just my 2 cents friend!  and welcome!
