My 12-year-old is showing some natural ability in baseball and I'm encouraging him to try out next school year for the team.  He is carrying a little extra weight (as am I) and I'm trying to find some fun and safe ways we can do things together to get a little exercise.  We swam together all summer, but it is too cold out for swimming.  We are in Arizona so usually it is nice enough to be outside.  Any suggestions on good exercise for me and my son that may help him with the sport he has an interest in?  Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm a big fan of going for the 45 minute walk every other day Tongue
